I'm Claire, and I was a military wife for over 10 years.
I had to juggle family life, my own well being and the chaos the lifestyle brings.
Finding no needles knitting has been invaluable for me to find some tranquil moments among the chaos.
But finding yarns that suited these techniques proved tricky. As a bit of an eco warrior I wanted to use eco-friendly and sustainable yarns, and spent hours researching to find the right yarns for me.
I wanted to do more.
I wanted to do more to protect the planet from the increased plastic pollution that it has faced over the last 50 plus years.

I encourage all my readers to use eco-friendly and sustainable yarns. They are much better for the planet and by using them you are helping to keep the planet a better place for future generations.
No needles knitting is a great choice for making striking pieces such as chunky beanie hats, skinny scarves, necklaces, bracelets and key fobs.
No needles knitting has a great choice of unusual techniques to try. Imagine knitting only using your arms, fingers, knitting looms, and even more traditional techniques such as a knitting nancy and a lucet fork!

Protecting the planet, one creation at a time
I am a bit of an eco-warrior, and I wanted to marry my love of crafting with helping the planet and it's sustainability.
I carefully research and choose my yarns so that they have as little impact on the planet as possible, and use yarns such as recycled acrylic, linen, bamboo, lyocell, organic cotton, and plant based yarns.
These yarns biodegrade much quicker than synthetic yarns.
As these fibres contain no plastics, they are more comfortable to wear and allow your skin to breathe easier.
The creations you can make from no needles knitting technique are very unique. No two yarns are the same, so each item is that little bit different.
Yarns that are kind to your skin, and to the planet.
Stand out from the crowd and do your bit for the environment!
Traditional and modern techniques sit side by side.
Embrace a more tranquil craft and take some much needed me time.
